Estas nuevas teorías y técnicas de prueba han permitido el análisis de varios problemas tradicionales desde una nueva perspectiva (por ejemplo , inflamación o suelos colapsables y suelos compactados o materiales de pavimentos ) , y también han demostrado su eficiencia para estudiar los nuevos problemas relacionados con la energía , como el secuestro de CO2 y la eliminación de los residuos nucleares. Los avances en las insaturadas suelos es una colección de documentos de la primera -Pan American Conferencia sobre suelos no saturados organizados en Cartagena de Indias, Colombia , en febrero de 2013 .
