Introducido por actuarios británicos, los modelos lineales generalizados (GLM) tienen por ahora convertido en un enfoque estándar utilizado para la fijación de precios en muchos países. El libro se centra en los métodos basados en GLM que se han encontrado útiles en la práctica actuarial. Teoría básica de GLM en un entorno seguro se presentó, con extensiones útiles que no son de uso común.
